Doing some work in a coffee shop with laptop but need to go to bathroom? Studying in library but have to leave your seat to get another book? Leaving your stuff behind make you anxious, brining stuff with you by the time you come back the spot might long gone already.
Sharing culture is getting a lot more popular than anytime: offices embrace open space instead of little blocks, shared working spaces are available at an affordable price, shared rentals are a lot more popular than hotels.
It reflects our human desire to connect with real world and real people, which we found very delightful. However, under such sharing condition, how can you protect your privacy and belongings? How can you effectively define you temporary “territory” or “space” without being rude and offensive?
To address these issues we approach regular utilitarian-based security system with a humanity twist. We made WatchDog to protect your space and belongings in a very direct but subtle way: no one can be mad at an adorable puppy even he’s barking at you, right?
Puppy Nosey sniffs around all the time. He can guard anything under his nose, such as laptop, wallet, confidential documents etc. Similar to Cyclops, he will bark when he gets moved around, and he will send you notification as well.
Puppy Cyclops has a proximity sensor, once he gets in guard mode, Cyclops will bark at anyone who comes too close to the guarding item, in the mean time, he will also send an alarm to your phone.
Puppy Bunny has a temperature and humidity sensor as her ears. She can keep a close watch of your home living condition. Children and babies love her cute body shape. She can be an adorable companion in the baby room who provides you a peaceful mind.
The sensitivity (alarm threshold) can be easily adjusted on your phone.
Have too many puppies in your house guarding different items or rooms? Put a name tag on each to help you remember.
